Our mission at Apex Fitness for Women is to be the leader in West Virginia in educating, supporting  and training all ages and levels of female clients while constantly holding them accountable to their goals. We strive to do this through continual dedication to our core beliefs in safe health and fitness practices and maintain the highest level of efficiency by constantly educating ourselves through seminars, certifications and continuing education courses.

At Apex we stand behind the Five Components of Fitness to achieve success. Every staff member has been through training on the five components and they in turn teach each of our new members during their orientation. We have listed below an outline of the five components.  
1. Food Intake
A healthy diet isn't about just eating less, it's about eating smart. We believe you don't have to starve yourself to get the results you want, and you can actually eat food that isn't only good for you but tastes good too! We are proud to have a certified nutritionist on staff to assist all clients with personalizing their meal plans and helping with their shopping lists.
2. Cardio
Cardio doesn't have to be a five mile jog at five am. Cardio can actually be fun! We focus on programs that get maximum results out of cardio routines built on frequency, intensity, and time and type. Our personal trainers can also build a customized program which incorporates the activities you like most.  
3. Dietary Supplementation
In many cases, supplements are misunderstood. When used properly, supplements can play a critical role in you reaching your fitness goals. Sometimes it's as simple as taking the right multivitamin, other times it's choosing a safe and healthy fat burning aid. We are proud to be home to the Apex Supplement line, one of the very few pharmaceutically manufactured health and fitness supplements on the market. We only carry what we believe in, and consume ourselves.
4. Resistance Training
That's right ladies, strength training isn't just for guys. No matter who you are, you need strong muscles. Strong muscles help you burn more fat, maintain healthy bones and stay mobile later in life. Our personal trainers can create an exercise plan for you which can include minimal to maximum strength training to get the results you desire. We use all forms of resistance training from free weights, machines, exercise balls and more to create a complete and enjoyable program that yields results.
5. Personal Assistance
Personal Training isn't just for the stars. An Apex certified trainer will help you reach your goals in a safe and effective matter. They will determine the perfect mix of all Apex Components into a customized plan. Having someone with you every step of the way will take the guesswork out of getting results. Now, you're the star.
